剧情介绍
丽娜（莱娜•尼曼 Lena Nyman 饰）跟随本片导演维尔戈特•斯耶曼拍电影，并且做他的女演员。摄像机跟随她在瑞典大街上访问各类民众对阶级制度的看法，人们纷纷讳莫如深，丽娜从自己的视角和人们大胆地探讨。在家里她认识了正在和父亲谈工作的推销员伯耶。伯耶借口进入了丽娜的房间，之后两人马上打的火热。而丽娜得知伯耶有孩子和女朋友后暴怒不已，来到了郊外的房子里开始禁欲和自虐式的生活。伯耶找到她，两人再次陷入热恋。不久丽娜又发现伯耶情人的秘密……痛苦中的丽娜在梦境捕获了23名过往的性伴并枪杀了伯耶。回城之后她在电视上看见政府对“暴力”运动颁布的法令，并和伯耶一起在诊所治完阴虱后分手，回家面对父母的责骂她的情绪终于爆发……Lena, aged twenty, wants to know all she can about life and reality. She collects information on everyone and everything, storing her findings in an enormous archive. She experiments with relationships, political activism, and meditation. Meanwhile, the actors, director and crew are shown in a humorous parallel plot about the making of the film and their reactions to the story and each other. Nudity, explicit sex, and controversial politics kept this film from being shown in the US while its seizure by Customs was appealed.
