spent the whole life doing what he loved, designed for design, loved being his own customer, not hard to tell how much fun he could get from architectural design
i think architect was the only thing he could do and he should do and he actually did it and be famous
he made himself a glasshouse which was always my childhood dream but he was more conceptual, pushing the boundary hard to minimize the sense of privacy making it unliveable for a long period of time
from the movie when he tried to sell people how beautiful the view was from the working table (which even being a bias of working), he said something negative like actually he didn't even would work there = =!!
this may be seen as a lack of responsibility which i personally disagree since he designed it for design itself glasshouse was just a product of designing however, generally i agree with this, because building is meant for living while this one isn't
all the samples and interviews can only enhance my strong thoughts toward him that he was in love with designing house and he always had a playful young heart
he was always a kid who played through his life who was living in dream and who only known happy
