Thoughts of the film director must be really complicating, daring, and vanguard. But the point is that I could not understand the beginning and neither could I accept the ending.

It is a film that is so well directed that it is really hard to tell the directing trait.

On the first place I love the natural way of telling stories of a couple who live suburb of Mexico ( I found it out after finishing seeing it through searching online) . Conflicts like Juan's being addicted to Internet and being unable to meet his wife's desire are just minor problems compared with his fellow villagers' crime like taking drugs. Juan loves his wife and takes her to experience feelings of making love. To live is to enjoy sex. That is maybe also the echo from film director.

Secondly, the film presents to its audiences the real side of a village in Mexico. Poverty, crime arising from poverty, religion in name of reflecting upon crime, forgetting about it when conflicts showing up and having crime again, sex, childhood, nature, these key elements composing life are all reflected in this about two hour long film and they are expressed delicately.

Thirdly, it must be important but I could not understand why the red kangaroo shaped like animal shows up twice while everybody is asleep but the big boy. what does the film director try to say?

The thrilling ending... It makes me hard to sleep. Thanks God, you did not do a close-up, film director Carlos Reygadas.
