Plot Summary:A group of recently trained astronauts are sent into space to probe a new experiment, only to be stranded and face an eternity in space unless successful contact can be established from earth. In between flashes of the story, a court is in process determining the cause of the accident.
本片以议员审判航空部负责人的形式展开全文，汤姆及同伴三人执行任务到太空，但航空局组长的助手布莱克跟反政府恐怖分子勾结破坏控制了宇宙飞船的电脑系统，使三个飞行员被困太空，面临死亡。地面上正紧张的寻找布莱克及恐怖分子，尽量排除电脑中的病毒；太空船中几个飞行员正面临缺氧致死的危机。最终，组长麦克顿请来了布莱克的导师布朗，但最终却是宇宙中的外星人拯救了绝望的宇航员们。
