Plot Summary:The moving story of crossing the borders of one's aspirations in order to fulfill one's dreams. The main character in the film, Weronika is a young, outstanding and talented dancer. Since she was 10 years old ballet has been her entire life, day in day out, striving for excellence. Weronika's private life, loneliness and exhaustion remain somewhere in the background, brushed aside, until she suffers from a serious contusion just 2 days before her performance at the Berlin Opera that is so vital to her career.
薇若妮卡畢業於知名的華沙芭蕾學院，十歲開始便將一生貢獻給芭蕾，伴隨她成長的，卻是數不清的孤獨和寂寞、汗水與淚水交織的日子，忍受身心靈的痛楚，只為了站在舞台上成為頂尖的舞者。從波蘭到聖彼得堡，從西班牙到柏林，好不容易被選入舞團，卻在表演前兩天意外傷到腳，對她來說，放棄夢想比堅持來得困難…。
