Plot Summary:In his brilliant documentary study shot at 20 years old, Marcel Carné, while filming the ginguettes of the edges of Marne, sketches a poetic disenchanted of the laborious petty bourgeoisie of the large modern cities, of which one finds the elements at the same time in Germany in "People on Sunday" by Robert Siodmak or the United States in "Lonesome" by Paul Fejos.
