Plot Summary:Two brothers run a factory canning crabs. The elder brother Kotaro is righteous and insists on honesty. The younger brother is fixated on money. They are polar opposites. When a boat sails out looking for crab and does not return one day the brothers begin to argue over how to run their facility. They had just received a large order from a foreign country and had obtained a loan from a lender that needed to be repaid.
有村は弟の鉄次郎と共に蟹缶詰の製作工場を営んでいた。だが今年は例年に無い寒気と流氷に災いされ、不漁が続き、工場は経営の危機に瀕する。打開策をめぐり衝突を繰り返しながらも、有村兄弟は困難を乗り越えるべく力を合わせて奮闘する。原作は山本有三の戯曲。
