Plot Summary:In early March 1991, a number of ships laden with men, women and children appeared off the Adriatic coast of southern Italy. It was the beginning of the so-called "Exodus of the Albanians." Never before in the post-war period had a mass emigration of such proportions taken place. Who were they? What were they running away from? And where are they today, 20 years later?
