剧情介绍
故事发生在１９０３年圣路易。富裕的史密斯家中有四位漂亮的女儿，包括埃丝特和小托迪亚。１７岁的长女埃丝特爱上了刚搬来的邻家男孩约翰。然而，约翰最初仅仅是注意到埃丝特。当史密斯先生告诉家人他已经被升职到纽约一个好职位时，整个家庭都震惊了。这意味着这个家将不得不离开圣路易和圣路易集市。St. Louis 1903. The well-off Smith family has four beautiful daughters, including Esther and little Tootie. 17-year old Esther has fallen in love with the boy next door who has just moved in, John. He however barely notices her at first. The family is shocked when Mr. Smith reveals that he has been transfered to a nice position in New York, which means that the family has to leave St. Louis and the St. Louis Fair.
