"The book does reveal the answers but I was disappointed to see that the film didn't; omissions include explanations as to Maggie Buckley's arrival, the bullet, the chocolates, the motive behind a hatred toward a certain person. Being one of the longer films, 100 minutes, this was probably a time issue, however with certain slow points in the middle, it would have been satisfying to have a more expressive conclusion. Brilliant, nonetheless. I highly recommend to all! Acting, scenery and music is immense but may need to read novel to clarify unanswered questions or theories. "
电影里面没有解释，但是书里面解释的剧情包括帽子上的子弹孔，2盒巧克力，作案动机其实包括了仇恨。

However, the murderer actually (allegedly) failed five times: the falling painting, the failed brakes, the boulder, the bullet that put a hole in Nick's hat, and the killing of Maggie instead of Nick. Incidentally, the bullet in Nick's hat is never explained in light of the solution.”
波罗说一共有4次不成功的谋杀，其实有5次：掉落的画，失灵的刹车，滚石，帽子上的弹洞 + 杀了Maggie而不是Nick.(其中子弹没有被解释）
