Im British, with us holding the next Games in 2012, and looking at this one I don't believe there is any way we (or any other country) can beat something like this. Truly awesome!

The opening ceremony and closing ceremony was truely amazing. I was captivated from start to finish, unlike the other olympic ceremonies I've seen. The ideas, the skill, the technology - the whole thing was so creative.There have never been any ceremonies like them before and I really wonder if there will be any like them again in the near future. Amazing!!!!

I do aggree that it was very militaristic though, but the fact is that they are rising as a world power and they are making a show of it.
