Plot Summary:Nazi propaganda film depicting the notorious Theresienstadt concentration camp as a sort of idyllic rest stop, in an attempt to convince world opinion that there was no such thing as Nazi death camps.
特列钦集中营位于捷克境内，距离布拉格只有50公里之遥。纳粹当局称它为模范营，允许甚至邀请外国记者和国际红十字会组织的代表前来参观。这里的看守人员对囚犯和颜悦色，非但不打不骂，还给他们提供各种服务。囚犯们的生活条件也相当优越，像乐园一般。纳粹的宣传部门在此专门拍摄了一部放映时间长达120 分钟的记录片《元首赐予犹太人一座城》（即本片），以此来掩盖他们对犹太人实行种族灭绝的大屠杀真像。
