【几乎无剧透】

前三集温温吞吞，除了第一集结束有小爆点，其他都顺其自然。投行的实习生过着底层的生活：给VP和MD买午餐，没机会见客户，不能直接打电话做交易，陪着正式员工晚上聚会喝一杯，然后一个阶层的实习生把日常工作的憋屈和压力释放在自己人的聚会中。

但，后面四集迎来矛盾和冲突的集中释放！

I once had a lehman saleswoman follow me into the toilet and try to flog me some MBS. So it's a vanilla currency option that will lose me money. So either you think I'm stupid, or you 're stupid. And I know you're not stupid. The only real currency you ever have as a salesperson is honesty. So are you going to tell me why you're really here? Clear your mind, take a second, come clean. Whatever the consequences, you'll feel relief. And I'm willing to forget about this little intrusion. Don't ever put a price on your dignity.

People like us, born at the bottom, where would you put our percentage chance of ever making that top quintile? It's about three percent. That's intimidating. We intimidate people here. Because hunger is not a birthright.

My tolerence for this place is at rock bottom.

故事发生在伦敦一家叫Pierpoint的投行。投行在你心目中是干什么的？说白了，是做交易的。所以核心资产是交易员（掌握着买卖金融资产的客户关系）和分析师（时刻关注为客户创造什么交易来赚取佣金）。MD，managing director，也就是董事总经理，和VP，vice president，也就是副总裁，这类在正常公司代表着高管头衔的title，在投行可能就是带2-3个员工的人的头衔。交易部门的MD和VP很多情况就是跪舔客户的销售员。

作为一个销售员，最大的压力就是无法完成销售业绩，没有提成，被裁员。投行的薪水是处在top级别的，所以为了在投行生存，尤其是作为一个销售员生存，身边都是名校毕业的高智商高情商愿意出卖灵魂给魔鬼的人，就需要付出无法想象的代价。当然，除非你爸是某人。毕竟投行每年招聘的人里，就有一些自带高端客户关系的关系户，这是符合这个行业规则的。

正面的不用说，负面的事情会比其他行业要多不少，撒谎，蔑视，挖坑，压榨，恐吓，还有生理行为的混乱（请无论如何抵制drug和乱sex，资本主义的年轻人都被搞废了），在金钱的胡萝卜下，小刀子割肉这种事情每天发生。

剧中最集中的矛盾冲突在后面几集发生，行业规则、职场谋略、生存法则和个人觉醒，编织在一起。有种熟悉的感觉，如果你曾经在职场至少主导过一次有关利益分配的权力斗争的话。
