as a balck man, you can say nigger whenever you want in America. But you'd better think twice before doing so if you are white.
As a Chinese, i often described myself as a "minority" and now i came to realize those white folks shouldn't use that word. The word they can use is "colored".
Oh, come on! The white folks are MAJORITY in this land. They are majority in number and in power.
So those in charge have made some gesture to show there is no discrimination. And others have to follow. The white has to be cautious for their behaviors to the colored to the extent that they feel so fake. The colored are somehow confused whether they got something because of their skin.
Both are unhappy.
Oh, come on! This is the reality and this is the world. If you can't make a difference, why you can't just get it over with? And, live happily ever after.
