Plot Summary:A farmaceutical salesman is involved in the spiral of corruption in the medical assistance of the welfare state system. He is totally stressed and Under pressure by the company he represents. "Two rats are closed in a cage. They are both hungry but the pièce of chiese they can eat is high tension charged. Eat or die. What happens ? They go eating themselves ".
本片根据真实事件创作，揭露了意大利乃至欧洲的医药市场的种种黑幕。40岁的药品推销员Bruno巧言善变，在药品市场竞争日益激烈与动荡的环境下凭借心狠且狡猾的行贿手段和处事作风得以生存自保。为了逃避家庭责任，他暗地里给妻子Anna服避孕药，造成妻子严重的药物反应，伤及性命。他自己的事业则日益陷入玩火自焚的万劫不复困境之中，应验了多行不义必自毙的中国古训。
